Resolved minor issues.

Apologies for not concealing the worms in the Trypophobia feature in the earlier release; this has now been corrected.

Introduced a “Trypophobia” feature under the accessibility settings, which, when enabled, ensures characters featuring holes on their bodies are excluded.

Addressed several small issues.

Compatibility extended to include Linux and Mac systems, though Linux requires a manual download and Mac may need a security override.

For game updates, just re-download and replace the existing file without losing any saved progress. (No need for an additional purchase; buying the game grants access to all current and future updates.)

A demo version is now accessible for both Linux and Mac users. I’m seeking confirmation from at least five individuals to ensure the demo’s compatibility with these platforms. My goal is to ascertain the game’s performance on these systems prior to releasing the complete version. If you’re willing to assist, kindly leave feedback in the comments section of this post regarding any problems encountered with the demo.

Apologies for the numerous updates recently, but a bug was discovered in the checklist feature, and I aim for the game to be flawless; this issue has been resolved, and I’ve also addressed a few minor bugs. With any luck, this will be the final update before we roll out a significant one that includes new content!

Version 1.0.3.0 now ready for download. Please reinstall the game over the existing file; your saved progress will not be affected.

Updates in this release:

  • The issue preventing text from appearing during interactions with the characters Nacha, Anastacha, Steven, and Mclooy has been resolved.
  • Several small bugs have been addressed.
  • Corrections have been made to various typographical errors.
  • Two additional options have been introduced in the accessibility settings, allowing for a stationary camera angle and the ability to reduce the dialogue box size.
  • The telephone feature will be inactive until a neighbor appears, which helps eliminate certain glitches associated with the phone.
  • The cleaning protocol can now be bypassed by dialing 3312 in case of an emergency.
  • A new file, “Can My PC Run It,” is now available for download at no cost, designed to help potential players assess if their system meets the game’s minimum requirements.

Version 1.0.2.0 released!

  • Resolved an issue where the ID wouldn’t open occasionally.
  • Implemented a fix for the intermittent absence of text during phone conversations.
  • Introduced a feature on the game over screen displaying the names and brief descriptions of doppelganger characters admitted into the building, highlighting their discrepancies.
  • Enhanced the calling feature to detect the presence of a neighbor in the building, with the caveat that admitting a doppelganger allows them to impersonate the neighbor during calls.
  • Reworked the start menu in preparation for future updates.

For those who have previously installed the game, please re-download and reinstall to ensure your saved progress remains intact.

Version 1.0.1.3 contains a glitch preventing call termination if the line is busy or if an invalid number is dialed.

Ensure you re-download and replace the game with version 1.0.1.4.

Version 1.0.1.3 includes updates such as:

Resolved an issue where pressing the phone’s go back button just before a call tone starts would prevent the display of documents for subsequent neighbors.

Should you have the game already, please re-download and overwrite the existing file. Your saved data will remain unaffected.
